The official start of our Morris season, unless, of course, we dance on April Fools Day! MayMay Day Weekend in Shepherdstown An annual tradition, always over the weekend with the first Saturday in May. Belles and Bows from England will be our special guests at the 2010 May Day celebrations! Albemarle Weekend The fabulous Albemarle Men from Charlottesville has hosted small ales on May weekends in lovely Charlottesville. We love them and will always go whenever they invite us. Kettle of Fish Ale hosted by Red Herring Morris. Someday we hope to go, when we can work around Mother's Day! JuneLondon Morris Ale A big favorite, but a long commute! Hosted by the lovely ladies of Forest City Morris. July and AugustDog Days Ale Hosted by those fabulous Basset Street Hounds. A lot of stands in parks and wineries, great camping at Peter Hoover's, and a myriad of great waterfalls nearby. SeptemberToronto Ale On Labor Day weekend, hosted by Toronto's many morris sides. A big, fun Canadian Ale with an urban flavor. Takoma Park Folk Festival — Sunday, September 13, 2009. Come out and join the fun! OctoberIn the Street Festival — Frederick, MD, Saturday, October 3, 2009. See you there! Middleway Days, Middleway, WV, Saturday, October 10, 2009. A lovely little village festival. Harvest Ale Hosted by the handsome men of Juggler Meadow and the awesome Rapscallion Rappers, and lovely Wake Robin in Shelburne Falls, MA. Not in 2009... hopefully in 2010! Annual General Meeting the Tuesday after Columbus Day to elect officers and decide whassssup.
